  4. Form 16A/Form 16B/Form 16C: These are certificates issued by other deductors, such as banks or financial institutions, for tax deducted at source (TDS) on income other than salary, such as interest, rent, or commission.

  5. Form 26AS / AIS: Form 26AS / AIS is a statement that reflects the details of tax credit available in an individual's account as per the records of the Income Tax Department. It provides information about TDS deducted, advance tax paid, and self-assessment tax paid, and other tax and income-related information.

  6. Bank Statements: Bank statements are required to report interest income, dividend income, and other income earned from bank accounts.

  7. Investment and Savings Proof: Documents related to investments and savings such as Employee Provident Fund (EPF), Public Provident Fund (PPF), National Savings Certificates (NSC), life insurance premiums, etc., may be required for claiming deductions.

  8. Property Documents: If an individual owns a property, documents related to the property such as sale/purchase agreement, loan statements, and property tax receipts may be required.

  9. Capital Gains: If an individual has sold any property, shares, or other capital assets, documents related to the sale and purchase, such as sale deed, purchase deed, and transaction statements, may be required.

  10. Business/Profession Documents: For individuals who are self-employed or have a business or profession, documents related to income and expenses, such as invoices, receipts, and account books, may be required.
